How to withdraw an offchain gift to Telegram?

You can withdraw an offchain gift in Telegram via the @gemsrelayer bot by following these steps:

  1. Go to your profile on Getgems → Edit Profile → Link your Telegram account to Getgems via “Connected Telegram Account”. Learn more in the article: How to connect a Telegram account to Getgems? 
  2. Send “Hi” to @gemsrelayer so it can send you messages.
  3. Open your gift page on Getgems. Then, click the 'Withdraw a Gift' button and confirm the transaction in your wallet app.

The gift must not be listed for sale. Also, you will pay a commission fee in the GRAM equivalent to withdraw a gift.


Important:

Onchain gifts are full NFTs stored in your TON wallet: you own them on the blockchain and can transfer them to any wallet.

Offchain gifts live on Telegram’s servers, not on the blockchain. They are tied to your Getgems profile, they are not full NFTs, and they are not stored in your wallet. An offchain gift can be minted into a full NFT, or withdrawn back to Telegram.
